Music These Days
is a band from
Tucson, Arizona

Once described as “Radiohead meeting Classic Country”, Music These Days brings an all-original sound with a down-home approach and a wide-ranging appeal. Led by songwriter, vocalist, and rhythm guitar player, Benjamin Wilkinson, the Tucson-based quintet draws audiences in with spacious melodies, lyrics rooted in storytelling, and the instrumentation and texture of a neo-traditional country music band.

Band members include Chris Byrne on bass guitar, Jameson Clay Koweek on pedal steel and lead guitars, Michael Newman on drums and percussion, and Emily Rockey on backing vocals. Their debut EP “Two Year”, released in March 2023, was featured as KXCI’s “Pick of the Week” and Americana (AMA) stations across the country have continually included their songs in playlist rotation.

On May 24th, 2024 the band released their second album, "Big Wide States." Along with more bookings in the southwest, Music These Days has a goal of expanding nationally as an opener for more established headliners. The band would be completely fine with a show at the Ryman.
